Spiritual Victory : “Fresh Start” Pass

1/4/12 Fresh Start.

What if we were all given one “fresh start” pass for life?

Let’s assume we could redeem this “fresh start” pass upon our death as we stand before the throne of God. With this pass, you would be allowed to return to earth and start life over—removing mistakes, or accomplishing things you did not accomplish the first time.

Think long and hard. If today could be that fresh start, what would you change? What dream would you pursue that you didn’t have the courage to pursue the first time? What decisions do you regret that you would like to change? What accomplishments would you strive for the second time around?

Of course there is no such pass. When your life is over, it is what it is. But, the part about appearing at the throne of God is REAL!

-Romans 14:12 says; “So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Since we have just one life to live, why not try to do it in a way now that we won’t be ashamed of when we stand before God to give that account? Now is the time make right decisions. You know what they are or you wouldn’t want to do them over. Let’s put into motion every gift, talent, and the precious anointing that He has bestowed upon each of us.

Let’s accomplish as much work in God’s kingdom as possible, live in such a way that will be pleasing to God. No more life of regrets, living in a world of “what if’s”. We serve an awesome God, full of mercy and grace, who allows us to begin again and again.

-Lamentations 3:23 NLT Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

My dear friends we have to realize that we can’t do anything to change our past. However, we can choose to live a righteous life from this moment forward, as best as we can. No matter how many times you’ve missed it thus far, take this to heart. Today, before you sits that “fresh start pass”. The question is, what will you do with it?
