Second ChancesPlant Time And Harvest?

James 3:17-18 NLT But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

The ground within our hearts must be cultivated in order to produce a Godly harvest. Joseph was in charge of distributing the harvest for a Nation! He had been cultivated for his position again and again! Everything that he went through from the pit to the palace to the prison then back to the palace again was the cultivation process necessary to produce in Joseph the ability to fulfill the destiny and the position that God had planned for him. Just know that your aggravation and suffering is part of cultivation. Don’t become discouraged if you may have to re-plow, replant, fertilize and weed often. The harvest will come!

Hosea 10:12 NLT. I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.

Galatians 5:22, 24 NLT But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.

If the soil in your garden were removed what would be exposed? Would the seeds be as Galatians 5:22 described? Or would God find seeds of bitterness? unforgiveness? greed? judgment? hate? pride? envy? perversion? Think of this, we were created from the dirt? God sees through us, right into the heart where the very seeds are lying await.

Now the question is, “Do you need to re-plow, replant and start fresh? Or Are You Ready To Harvest?”

Let’s pray that God would root out of our hearts everything planted of our own flesh and set out with His own hand, the tree of life bearing all manner of Godly fruit  that brings forth a Godly harvest.

All my love Sharon
